Workforce Connections serves low-income youth in local targeted high schools. Services are focused on Juniors and Seniors in high school to help with the transition from high school to post-secondary education or the workforce. Case managers work closely with the students to connect them to a variety of services, including tutoring programs, mentors, community support groups and activities. They also provide support to the students during career and college exploration activities. Post-secondary education exploration includes: career interest surveys, ACT registration assistance and tours of local and regional colleges/universities. Youth enrolled in the program may also participate in paid work experience during the summer months. We are currently serving students enrolled in Austin East and Fulton.
